PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

1) Worked as an Executive with Media Transasia India Ltd.(publisher of popular international magazines like Swagat, Namaskar, Discover India, Elite etc.) for one and a half years,(my responsibilities included both Editorial & Advertisement marketing for the magazines.)

2) Presented English programmes as a Radio Jockey on All India Radio & Times F M Radio regularly for 7 years.
Have presented more than 300 programmes on various radio channels.
3) Represented Jain Business New division (Jain TV) as the English news reader for over 3 months. Read the live news, twice daily, from their base at Dubna (Moscow), Read about 100 news bulletins.
4) Represented Asia Television Network Ltd.(ATN) as an English news reader. Read the hourly special bulletins on
UP Elections 96, live from their base at Singapore for two weeks. Read about 100 news bulletins.
5) From Sept' 1999 till Oct'2001, I had regularly anchored the News Bulletins on Jain TV. During this period, I have anchored more than 1000 news bulletins and talk shows.
6) Anchored sports news on DD Sports channel on behalf of TWI for over a year-2000-01.

SPECIAL INTERESTS
I am a serious Philatelist, Numismatist, Notaphilist and Philographist. For the past 15 years, I have been collecting and doing research on Stamps, Coins, Banknotes and Autographs. My specializations include worldwide modern coins, Paper Currency Worldwide, Thematic Collection in Stamps on Cinema, Lady Diana, WWF, Nude Paintings, Cricket and Post Independence India and Autographs of personalities related to Sports and Movies.
AWARDS/MERITS/ MEDALS /SCHOLARSHIPS

1) Winner of many prizes and awards in English Elocution and Debates at the Inter School, Inter College and Inter University Level. Reached the National level competition several times and won prizes and team trophies. The Delhi University Cultural Society gave me a special award for the Best Debater & Orator of the Delhi University in1989-90.
2) Recipient of the prestigious National Talent Search Scholarship awarded by N.C.E.R.T.
3) Recipient of the lEC Tech. Excellence Award '1994
(given by lEC school of Art &Fashion and lEC Ltd., New Delhi, for achieving excellence in Fashion Journalism & Compering Fashion Shows).
4) The ALEE CLUB AWARD'2000, for achieving excellence in Compering Live Stage Shows.
5) Recipient of the PRIDE OF INDIA '2001 AWARD for Compering, awarded jointly by The Indian Arts Group and Chandigarh Club.
6) Awarded a Silver Medal for my Paper Money collection, in the world wide category, at COINEX'2003 and 2004, a national level coins & bank notes exhibition, organized by The Madras Coin Society at Chennai. The next year at Coinex’2004, I was awarded 2 silver medals for my collections on Europe and Asia.
7) Won the Silver-Bronze medal for my five frame philatelic collection-exhibit on Cinema at RAJPEX'2003, a state level stamps exhibition organized by the Philatelic Society of Rajasthan, at Jaipur, in association with the Post Master General of India.
8) Won Two Silver & Two Bronze medals for my collections on Cinema, Nude Paintings, Lady Diana & Walt Disney
Cartoons at DESPEX ‘2004, the philatelic exhibition held at New Delhi.
9) I was awarded two Gold Medals and one Silver medal for my philatelic exhibits on Cinema and Lady Diana at
JP- PEX’2005 and Science Pex’2005 held at Jaipur.
10) I was awarded 1 Gold Medal and 4 Bronze medals for my philatelic exhibits on Cinema, Lady Diana and others
at the Delhi State Level Philatelic exhibition DAKIANA’08 at New Delhi.
